Sometimes, the impact of a healthcare experience reaches far beyond a single visit.
Eleven years ago, shortly after moving to Florida, Milagros Rivera brought her daughter, Mia, to Pediatric Associates Boynton West for a school wellness visit before kindergarten.
There, they met Dr. Philip Chang.
The compassion, sincerity and trust Milagros experienced during that visit made an immediate impression. She chose to make Pediatric Associates her daughter’s medical home, beginning a relationship that has continued for more than a decade.
Years later, that experience would also influence Milagros professionally.
Today, she is a member of the Pediatric Associates Family of Companies Marketing and Communications team, helping support the organization whose care once made such an impression on her own family.
